The Desalination plant is locate in Cap Djinet, Algeria. The project was an EPC project awarded to Wetico, while EEG was the design consultant. Our scope of work included Site Networks, Architecture, Structure, Electromechanical works, Electrical, Light current and fire fighting systems, HVAC as well as Mechanical works. the plant, which will have a capacity of 300,000 m3, will boost the drinking water supply to 3 million people in Boumerdès and Algiers, two wilayas facing water shortages, partly due to drought. Delivery of the plant is scheduled for December 2024.
