The project’s aim is to expand KUBD waste water treatment plant with a capacity o 90,000 CMD to reach the ultimate capacity o 270,000 CMD. The Process consists of preliminary treatment, Biological nutrient removal , tertiary treatment consists of Disc filter in addition to UV disinfection system. The sludge treatment consists of mechanical thickening, Aerobic digestors, sludge incinerators.
