The Desalination plant, located in Fouka, Algeria, is an EPC project awarded to Metito, while EEG’s role is the MEP design contractor consultant with a specific scope of work that includes the MEP systems and the site utilities works. The plant, of the same size as the plant of Cap Djinet desalination plant, will be built on a 7-hectare site. The aim is to provide drinking water to 3 million people in the western part of the Tipaza province and part of the Blida province by 2025.
Technical Brief: the hydraulic analysis and surge protection system will be done to carbon steel pipes with DN 1400 mm. and 900 mm. with a length of 9000 m. and 500 mm. with operating pressure of 23 pars.
